International Wheelchair Day

To celebrate International Wheelchair Day, Merlin Entertainments is offering free entry across all of their Australian and New Zealand attractions to mobility device users and their carer from 1st March – 3rd March 2025

HOW TO REDEEM FREE TICKETS

From Saturday 1st – 3rd March, we will be offering FREE entry for any guest that uses a wheelchair or mobility aid + FREE entry for a carer. No need to book online, simply arrive at Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures and let our friendly team know at the ticket counter.

“Over recent years, we have been dedicated to making all of Merlin Entertainments’ attractions as accessible as possible. We believe that every guest should be able to enjoy magical moments at our attractions. To achieve this, we will continuously improve our environments for accessibility and listen to the voice of our guests. That is why global awareness days like International Wheelchair Day are so important to Merlin." said Ian Wood, VP of Merlin Entertainments Australia and New Zealand.

"We acknowledge that there is still work to be done to ensure our attractions are fully accessible. We believe that learning from the lived experiences of our guests and teams will help us shape our accessibility action plans and make meaningful progress.”

Ian continued, "In recognition of International Wheelchair Day, we are delighted to offer free entry to mobility device users and their carer at our ten wonderful attractions across Australia and New Zealand."

Welcoming Feedback

We value learning from our guests and team members with lived experience and recognise the importance of listening and adapting to be inclusive to all guests. By engaging with our visitors and team members, we gain valuable insights that help us improve our services and create a more welcoming environment for everyone.

We are always looking for ways to improve, and we invite guests to join us in shaping a more inclusive experience by providing feedback on their visit. Whether attending during International Wheelchair Day or at another time, we welcome insights and are happy to discuss any suggestions further to ensure our attractions continue to evolve and meet the needs of all visitors.
